The United States Department
of Education has mandated that most districts offer Supplemental
Educational Services under the No Child Left Behind Act. This
law allows students to receive FREE tutoring paid
for by theschool district.
Supplemental Educational Services (SES) is FREE tutoring in
Reading/Science/English Language Arts and Math for qualifying
students. In order for students to qualify for FREE
tutoring, they must attend an eligible school and receive
free or reduced lunch.
Supplemental Educational Services programs may vary from
district to district. However, at One on One Learning,
the main focus of improving a child’s academic weakness
is constant. Our tutoring may take place at your child’s
school, a local community center, and/or at the convenience
of your own home. In addition to this convenience,
transportation and healthy snacks are provided for most programs.
